I have a Bio-Sept tank under the house which is around 7 years old. (The type which looks like a giant hand grenade)

It has never had any form of maintenance except for cleaning the grease filter.

Lately, there has been an intermittent drain smell from the area

and I was wondering if there is any form of chemical available which will help to solve the problem.

Perhaps it should be emptied periodically?

Grateful if anyone knows where I might purchase such Bio Chemicals and if there are any companies on the island

which carry out maintenance/emptying including grease trap if required.

Thanks Gator

"Bactocel 2001" (waste digester )Liquifies and Deodorizes all paper & solids. Used to be able to buy @ homepro.

Alternatively , contact Tessaban, they have pump out trucks.

The bacteria, speeds up the breakdown & gets rid of all odors.
