Featured Replies

Hi I have a problem with eczemas on my legs, iI've had it for some years but it's been getting worse after an infection and I need to see a dermatologist in Bangkok.

If anyone can recommend a specialist for me please let me know.

Not sure if I should just goto the nearest hospital instead.

In terms of dermatologists, I suggest this one at Samitivej:

Doctor Name : Paritas Sukriket , M.D.

Specialty : DERMATOLOGY

Sub Specialty : ผิวหนัง (DERMATOLOGY)

Expertise : Dermatology

Language : ENGLISH THAI

Education :

Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Dermatology, Yale School of Medicine, Yale University

Diplomate American Board of Dermatology

If it is eczema it may be an allergy. Think about what possible allergens you may have had contact with.

Its not an allergy , it was caused by a streptococcal skin infection and I've seen specialists about this in Europe before. There's seems to be no effective treatment for this.

Thanks for the suggestion , I have not the best experience with Samitivej but I think I will give this one a try.

The recommendation for taking a GLA supplement like borage seed oil and vitamin D3 both support healthy skin. A Google and Youtube search will provide more info from Doctors on these two supplements, but as always, discuss with your doctor.
