Boon Mee Interrogation Thread...

Featured Replies

I thought it was about time we had a post where we could all ask Boon Mee a question and he could answer it.

He's a prolific member of Thaivisa and his hobbies seem to be loitering on the forum causing mischief and playfighting with Tornado.

He is not as irritating as your avarage American but as a Thaivisa member he can be more irritating than me and even Kringle at times.

So I kick off this post with three questions to the man himself.

1: Whatever possesed you to come up with such a daft name?

2: What did you want to be when you were at school?

3: How old are you?

4: Do you miss hash browns?

If anybody else has questions for Boon then post them here and I'm sure he will get back to us as soon as he can. :o

1: Whatever possesed you to come up with such a daft name?

Daft?

This is coming from a guy with the moniker of 'The Gentleman Scamp'! :D

BTW - it's a fairly common name in the 'Baan Nook'... :o

I don't have any problem with Boon Mee. I don't read all the post in this forum but from what I can tell he only stand up for what he believes and if someone gives him any crap he not afraid to throw it back at them. His politic's is what a some people don't like, and he will suggest the bearpit to those who want to argue about it.

All in all I think he is a valued member of the forum.

You haven't spent much time in Thailand or understanding, Scampy.

I knew that Boon, I was asking on behalf of the general TV public.

Michael Parkinson and Jay Leno know the answers to nearly all the questions they ask.

I fancied being a chat show host and you just happened to be my first guest, it's nothing personal Boony - so... Shall we continue?

Next week: Ovenman

That's more like it! ..See, isn't it funny how we automatically expect bad publicity.

If I had put 'Boon Mee Appreciation Thread' I may have recieved quite a bit of stick so I had to have a little mockery in there, it's an English thing. :o

You can feel flattered that I considered you interesting enough subject matter on which to conduct a questionaire.

Anybody else have a question for Boon?

Yes. How do you record to DVD on Nero?

Oops. Wrong forum!!!! :D:D:D:o

Ok, I have one for Boony.

Boon, how much would someone have to pay you to sit down and have a civilised conversation with Michael Moore? By civilised I mean talking without getting upset in any way. :o:D

Michael Moore - smth about him wants me to cave his head in!! Woops you asked Boon Mee..... :o

Kringle, did you see the words 'irritating as me' in the OP?

Does that suggest to you playful banter or animosity?

My reason for starting this post was to put a well known member who's 'one of the gang' in the spotlight, in a similar way to an 'appreciation thread'.

Your frequent attacks are in stark contrast to the lighthearted waggishness which are mine.

Ok, I have one for Boony.

That's a tough one Tripx.

Michael Moore is a bit more palitible than say, Hanoi Jane, whom I absolutely could not be in the same vicinity of.

I'd actually enjoy a good one-on-one with MM for sole purpose of telling him to his face what a seditious bastard he is.

Wouldn't take $$$ to do that! :D

Which actor would you have play you in a film about your life?

...And what does seditious mean?  :D

Using it as an adjective 1: arousing to action or rebellion [syn: incendiary, incitive, inflammatory, instigative, rabble-rousing] 2: in opposition to a civil authority or government [syn: insurgent, subversive].

Don't have a clue re the actor, Scamp! :o

From Boon Mee's postings and the info we have in this thread, I would suggest BM, would be more than happy to be depicted by Mr. John Wayne.

...but then there are probably a few things we don't know about BM, yet.

Perhaps judgement should be delayed until further questioning.

Boon Mee, are you, or have you ever been a member of the Communist Party, The Girl Guides or Jews for Jesus?

I believe we did - in 'Paint Your Wagon'?

Or maybe that's Clint Eastwood - don't recall...

No, but I was thinking of joining the John Birch Society once! :D

Do you believe if everybody else on earth should think and act as you do, this would become in fact a better world ?

Man...this interrogation thread...

To answer your question - NO - or as Scampy would put it - 'Don't be rediculous' (sic)

We need divergence but in time of a National Security situation we find ourselves in, a cohesive populous is certainly more desireable.

Well, that at least is one major divergence from the John Birch Society!

With piece of reassuring news, I will leave you in peace and retire to bed.
