Online Gaming (Ps3) Cod Mw2

im trying to play cod mw2.. i live in bkk (asoke) and just got my new internet line.. in my app building they couldn't get me over 6MB internet TOT.. dont know why.. just tried to go online and play but takes ages to find a game and connection 1 red bar... i have been told that playing from bangkok is better but this is just sh*t

its probably the ping speed wich speedtest will give me the correct pingspeed info because im sure its not the bkk server

and anyone have any suggestions on what i can do?

i think it is a general problem with TOT. 2 of the guys I play with "wubblemonster and Big Green Mango" always have 1 bar, both on TOT, and both pulling out their hair

Confirm that. I played with BigGreenMango many times. Also had nice messaging conversations. He always said that he got 2 Mb/s TOT in Pattaya and is very upsad.

I got the same problems as you before. Than i change to TRUE 12Mb/s and i have no more problems.

Many times full Green bars and finding game takes less than a minute.

My suggestion is if you are unable to change your speed or provider find as many "Thai Players" as possible an build up a group.

This helps a lot for smooth playing.

It has gotten worse recently and the lag is horrible, not so bad locally but still there. Even with 4 greens bars in a local game you can see the lag in the 'kill-cam'. If I wasn't so addicted I would have thrown the PS3 out the window months ago.

My ping shows a D or F rating most times so I guess this is the problem, not the speed. Any ideas on how to improve this...other than moving to a developed country!

I aleviated this problem by moving to an Open DNS but 3BB(TOT) have stopped this now. It had improved but today back to the same <deleted>. I have started a facebook group and also another thread in regard to gaming please join as a gaming community I am sure we can make some noise together

i think tot has this problem but true Doesn't As i had tot before and i always got only yellow or red so i canceled my tot and got true since then my connection is better i usually find games in green bars

So true is fine for connections right now... Unfortunately I am in a building that has been paid off by TOT to only supply TOT lines.. I feel sorry for all with TOT lines and considering the throtteling that is being done I wish I could also switch

thats really Sad considering tot is A government based isp However Tot filters Every connection that makes ur ping really Slow

one more thing i noticed is that tot has A really bad upload speed
