If you have a decent SW radio listen for Radio Farda (Freedom). Google them for their

frequencies. Lots of banter and great Persian R & R which I really like as I did a stint

in Iran with the USG pre Kohmeini days down in Bandar Abbas & up in Esfahan. Good

music venues back then & great bands. Kiosk is one of my all time persian bands....their

music is available on te web...have a Google.

Wouldn't it be more simple to Google them and just start listening thro the web browser? My SW radio hasn't seen a new set of batteries put in it for at least 10 years.

Yes...That's Radio Farda. Their music programmes seem to run

at 1500 until 2000 each day now whereas before they were

mostly music all day long. Before was circa 2005 until mid last

year. This is all dependent if the web broadcast is live or recorded

though. Thanks for this...
