2 uplifting classics from the urban hippies:

Just love the guitar fade- out on MC, when Huw was on form with Hawkwind he was inspirational

Dedicated to fellow "northerner", he will get homesick when he listens to this utter crap, nice to know,

A, the licencse payer fees were put to good use.

B, Carla Lane actually wrote shyt that was even worse.

Oh Lor,

Ah, great stuff, kudos to the uploader.

HOS, listen here.

Hawkwind sucks! Punky Meadows is the best of all time!

5555 I wanna join this band, they've got so much equipment and it means so much to them

on the other hand.....

Was anything ever worse than Nelson?

My wild love went ridin'
She rode all the day
She wrote to the devil
And asked him to pay
The devil was wiser
It's time to repent
He asked her to give back
The money she spent

from portentous poet to passionate rocker poser in rgs' vocabulary)

The power of the music cannot be denied even if the singer was a prick at times.

Northern culture to be proud of, ploughing his own furrow

Pretentious is the word I would have used BN, still never mind, at least we dont level the same charge against this great.

dbh - Untangle the Jig [2015]

The Doomed Bird of Providence - Fedicia Exine [2011]

Getting back to seriousness.

Freddie reveals he has a Thai wife:

'Where you've been?'

'Down at my sister's house'

'what you're been doin?'

"Having a whist party'

The Stranglers having fun

Indeed getting back to seriousness,

Awesome, even better than the pretentious ramblings of The Lizard King.

Lest we forget,

Klassic stuff,

Reverend Horton Heat - Wiggle Stick [1993]

Daniel Bachman - Song For The Setting Sun II [2015]

Close Lobsters - Just Too Bloody Stupid (Album: Foxheads Stalk This Land) [1987]

Motörhead - Ace Of Spades [1980]

Polyversal Souls - Yelle Be Bobre (feat. Guy One) [2015]

Fletcher Henderson Orchestra - New King Porter Stomp [1932]

Great to see such a variety of music on the thread, extraordinary really that Lemmy is still doing the same thing 35 years after that clip from DB. I saw an interview with Angus Young from AC/DC recently and i have to say he looked knackered- 40 years of hard/heavy rock must do you in. It's alright for us DJs, play a few tracks here and there and then go back to something more sedate but to be on stage, playing with that volume night after night......

The symptoms below are the obvious result.

rgs, what adjective can adequately describe Dave Hill's hairstyle?

The lizard king never suffered from bad haircuts, he may have had one too many at times but at least he never veered towards the dreadful dress sense of glam rock in the 70s. Of course being dead may have helped.

QMS-, especially relevant to Bangkokians - another hit- of fresh air.

Ratatat - Drift [2015] thumbsup.gif

Jimmy Reed - You've Got Me Dizzy [1956]
