yes, rgs, there's an amusing story about it on the internet-

http://www.mtv.com/news/512709/fan-who-called-dylan-judas-breaks-33-years-of-silence/

rgs, it must have taken guts for Dylan to withstand the boos, like old Neil. he has released some crap but luckily the good is just so damn good we forget the forays into whatever..

Gotta love Neil for always ploughing his own furrow, and what a writer of tunes, lyrics and rhythms. Anyone who plays the guitar knows, his songs sound deceptively simple,

yeah, C chord, major G, bit of D minor, piece of cake..... but the way he gets the rhythm to syncopate....magic,

Neil saying goodbye to his decadent friends in crystal canyons below..555555

Ps DB has not posted for several days, this is unprecedented- similar to Sorrayut of Channel 3 fame who broadcast 7 days a week for over 15 years until his conviction for keeping some of the advertising revenue- I do hope DB hasn't suffered a similar kind of fate, perhaps he committed a major crime in the UK like parking on double yellow lines or even exceeding the now 20 mph speed limit in parts of Bristol recently imposed by an over zealous mayor........ jeez I can nearly run faster than that!

Top banana on that one, Live Rust and Rust Never Sleeps wow, what albums, brilliant stuff.

One of my favourites,

I have the DVD somewhere must get it fired up tomorrow.

Dont spook the horse.

Saw him in that cowshed that is Birmingham NEC.

Prefer the CH stuff to his solo stuff.

I fear The Nanny State may have him hung drawn and quartered for sneezing on a one way street without the relevant paperwork.

Reminds me of the story about Lemmy being interviewed for the job with Hawkwind, not many people know Lemmy wasnt a bass player, anyway, Nik Turner to Lemmy, just make some noises in E.

Wasnt that a famous Dylan bootleg has anyone got an E (or was it G) harp.

Get your hands on these if you can.

From what I've read about Slowhand, he became bored with the role of Clapton is God, tired of playing the lead guitar hero, he wanted a more laid back, part of the band position, as in Delaney and Bonnie and Friends and acoustic albums ie Ocean Boulevard etc

Sure he wanted to cut loose now and again, but generally he didn't want to be the focus of all the attention as in Cream and Blind Faith.

Cream- for chrissake, listening to this today, it sounds as urgent as passionate as it did nearly 50 years ago.

A car is a car, driving with the roof down or in a pick- up, the road from Nong Khai to Ban Dung is magical Like a French road, both sides are lined by tall trees with wonderful shade, interspersed with canals, rivers and farms, when the moon is up it's wonderful to drive at night, especially if you can sit in the back and let the son-in law drive whilst drinking a beer!

The Stranglers - Sverige (Jag Är Insnöad På Östfronten) I heard there was an actual single released in Sweden, probably a collectors item now.

And you know, you are sitting on a lazy Sunday afternoon perusing your e mails and fussy book and that blasts at you!!

And i felt good!

But i can see where all the brain damage came from, all that head banging cannot be good for you. Especially after forty years.

Mines ok. I think. I still remember the words... And my laptop is used to dancing. Bopps around like a ... no comment.
