loading delivery trucks at the UPS depot in east LA in 1979 at 4am...then my sharona would come on the radio and everyone on the loading dock would start movin' to the music...infectious...

Why go back to the UK? There are far better places to go. If they were advised, they would have been aware of the UK non-resident tax rules. Any other country, or multiple countries, rather than the UK would have been better. If they kept a "home" in the UK then they likely weren't fully tax exempt anyway. It will be interesting to see the long term future of Dubai under the situation. The rulers must be accutely aware of this.
