Part-timers, eh? I've no idea when I last worked such a short day - now I remember; Sunday before last.

I'd found my way to the first song by way of Kenny Rogers, Budgie Murderer.  You might recall, back before The Handover, we were staying in a Consultants' Flat (don't get me started on the electric bills); anyway, our local Project Manager was repatriating for a couple of weeks' home leave to the Old Country, so he left his budgie in the Consultant's Flat for the duration.  Well, we all of us returned to the Glorious Motherland, as it were, for at least a few days over the holiday season, except for Kenny Rogers, who was only stopping for a short assignment.  Anyway, long story short, the budgie was as late as late can be when we came back, and I've not been to Kenny Rogers' Roasters since.
