OldChinaHam
Deep Purple is Next To Bachliness! We all love them. I recall that everyone around the world used to love Deep Purple. First time I heard it, I was somewhere in Yokohama. When the Japanese kids played it, I didn't know what it was. I was their age fresh from America. They thought I was nuts. Rightfully so. Can you imagine that this was a very low budget movie, which turned out to be one of biggest box office of it's time.

Has Stoneboy seen this? ...... (You know, Dylan imagined himself a serious poet, it is said that when he did visit a real poet, he was shunned by that real poet. Not surprising I believe. But who does not like Dylan's brass bed song?) AND THAT Kristy McCole selection was dredged up by Thaddeus to help explain his two shooting stars, I guess. I guess it might have been Allen. A poet with a first name ending in "N", I am sure about.

OldChinaHam
Last night we had Deep Purple Now we have Berry But still, this does not Wooden Ships make. Of course I am plenty old enough to remember this tune when it was on the radio. I think. Maybe that is my dementia kicking in again.

To be clear I have a server with + 230.000 songs, lost count the other day so have to start all over again, ranging from 60 years ago till a few years back. But this is the kind of music I'm listening as it is a generation which will never come back. I hope you share my opinion

OldChinaHam
Want some more of this hippy shit, check out this, I have found that it is no longer possible to listen to most of it. Some that was good, you can't really sit around and listen to it anymore. So don't try if you don't want to. If you stick with Blues, Jazz, then there is some real meat to sink your teeth into Not the pablumsht you have singled out for us. To each his own, though I am no music snob. I just know what I like If it sounds good to me I just play it on YouTube Or I torrent download it The older I get, the more feeble too So I just find a radio station that I like which webcasts And do not spend too much time Fiddling around with the hippyshit Once in a dog's age Is plenty for me.
