Folding Chairs To Carry In Car Boot

Featured Replies

Does anyone know where you can buy decent folding chairs.

I bought a couple of deck chair type with steel frames from Big C and after using a few times

one broke at the steel joint and the other followed soon with the tube breaking.

Other ones i have seen look no stronger.

Tanks in advance for any reply's.

I bought one of the round shaped folding chairs from Carrefour for around 1700 Baht. I weigh about 145 kilos and am 6'1" and it has held up to my abuse. It fits very nicely in the trunk of my Volvo. Trunks of elephants are as of yet untested although I may pass for a baby elephant... :whistling:

I think i have seen the ones you are talking about, but they wont fit in the boot of my Vios.

There is a place in Cherng Talay (and I think Kamala too) called kitchen fashion that has metal ones for 350 baht. Not 100% if they would fit in the boot though.

Thanks for the information, They are probably like the metal ones i have seen for a similar price.

They are made out of to light material and do not last, you end up suddenly sitting on the floor.

Carrefour, patong , second floor back corner

Steel frame, padded rear and back, decent gauge steel for frame.

Not pop riveted together, seem well constructed with screws and solid rivets

.

Better quality than more expensive ones i have seen only 399 baht

They fit easily into car boot.
