Running And Outdoor Specialist In Bangkok

Featured Replies

I'm looking for a really good store to buy shoes for running and I need an outdoor "survival" store in Bangkok. Someone recommended Central to me but is has burned down... Every mall has it's little sports store with some shoes and some outdoor stuff laying around but they never have what I need. I hope someone knows some good stores that actually specialise instead of having some stuff laying around.

I'm looking for running shoes and synthetic shirts/pants from brands like odlo and the north face. Well the brand doesn't really matter just that these tend to have a decent model unlike what adidas or nike sells in this categorie.

There's a good north face store inside Siam Discovery. Also, I'm sure I remember seeing some north face footwear in one of the two large sports shops at Sala Daeng BTS station, the Patpong side.

Central Chitlom has a large sports section with fair selection of tents, sleeping bags etc. Also has a large range of sports footware.

The North Face shop in Siam Discovery is expensive.

If you are visiting Sala Daeng try the small outdoor clothing shop in Silom Complex (BTS airbridge) near the rear escalators (level 2 or 3). They have brand names going 'cheap', but are they the real thing? Maybe.
