So I was walking around the old Seri Center - now renamed "Paradise Park" mall.

Where Daimaru used to be (later @ease) is now Villa market. Hooray. Saves me a lot of driving. Located in the ground Floor.

Up on floor 3 (British floor 2) is the computer area - extreme North end - as far from Home Pro as possible.

Parking garage was mobbed today & lots of customers.

Bright new clean image all round. Too bad rents went up a LOT.

I went to a Villa store recently and have to say that I was very impressed with the multi tasking skills of the check-out operator, she managed to serve three people, that's scanning the items, taking the cash and offering the change, without speaking, looking up or interrupting her telephone conversation.

I was so impressed, unlike the two older Thai ladies who were also served, I thought I would pass on my congratulations to the duty store manager, unfortunatly I wasn't allowed to se him/her, I imaging they get so much praise they didn't want to hear any more.

PP,

would love to go and check it out, however the traffic out that way is horrendous.

Whats being constructed on the way to Bang Na? every time I go I no longer go via Srinakarin, easier to go on the tollway.

Report back in 6 months and give us a traffic update.

they are working along about half a kilometer of road either side of srinakarin and its down to two lanes.

i always take the road that runs behind big C and central bang na. it then forks, left fork goes onto umdom suk, right fork cuts out onto srinakarin. all but misses all of the road works.

Went down to Paradise Park yesterday at around 8PM, very few people walking around and like the other posters have mentioned, about 50% of shops were opened. Everything looks new and clean, however we ate at a Japanese Shabu upstairs and the service was horrible, might be because they are still new.

The VIlla was much larger than any other branches, only a couple of people walking around but lots of things to buy. Seri Market on the opposite end equally well stocked. Paradise Park has lots of things to eat, everything from sweets to steaks, the next time I will be going down will be in 5-6 months time though, once they are fully operational and more shops are opened =D

Well I bought something at Villa Market I thought I would never see in LoS.

Pillsbury Biscuits in a can.

I bought the last 3 of these small cans - 38 baht each.

They do have larger ones but a LOT more expensive. Will post finished product later.

This mornings Brekkie. 2 fried eggs, fresh biscuits & some TGM ham. Yum.
