Children Activity Thread For Phuket

This is a forum thread listing various activities for children aged 2-14 years old in Phuket. It is not a listing about all things there is to do in Phuket but only activities that are kids friendly. It is meant to be for both residents as well as tourists. All forum members are free to post new activites or fill in missing information and comments but please follow this threads set of rules.

THREAD RULES:

1.Post each activityin only one line. It should contain info like WHAT it is, NAME, PLACE and PRICE.

2. Don't post negative things or trash one activity or a company as there will be all kinds of forum readers and families with different opinions of whats good or not.

3. Some families will happily spend thousands of baht per head, while others will be annoyed over why access to one swimming pool cost 150 B and why not 50 B like another one. Let people select and try it out themselves. Just post the price.

4. Forum members are free to remove activities that are shut down permanently, but not if they only are closed for renovation.

5. When adding an activity try to find the category you feel it is most suitable for. You could at the beginning of your post describe a few things about it.

6. One time events like festivals or concerts should be posted in the Events section under thesame set of rules but also with the DATE of event. When the date of the event has passed by the last day, the event can be removed from the listing.

7. Under sport scategory you can add all kinds of sport clubs like footbal, gymnastics, judo,Karate, tennis etc.

8. Only activities accessable to all people either as free of charge or paid by a fee should be posted. Activities in hotels open only to hotel residents should not be posted.

7. Try to COPY and PASTE the listing itself if adding an activity instead of using the REPLY button. If not each post containing the list will be too long.

PS! The second post in this thread will show an example of how to add one activity. The most complete activity list should be found in the last one posted

Example of adding an activity: Painting in Chalong. Kids can buy small white statues and sit by tables painting them. When done take the statues with you home. Painting on paper also available.

There's some tae kwon do classes for kids at the basement of homeworks, some Thai dance classes at a shophouse in Chalong, and there used to be ballet at land and house, but I think the teacher has since moved that to Kajonkiet. I've always thought a gymnastics class would do well also.

Minimum age is 10 for certification, with restrictions. That is provided the child is mentally and physically ready, to be determined by parents, child and instructor before the course.

There are also Bubblemaker programs for kids as young as 8 and SASY (Supplied air snorkling for youths) starting at age 5.

I don't see mentioned the laser type shooting range with replica firearms that use co2 to add life like re-coil upstairs at Jungcylon.
