Serviced Apartments Around Victory Monument.

Featured Replies

Hey all.

Im staying in BKK for atleast six months from September 1st, perhaps a year. Having trouble with deciding where to live, i think i would like the Victory Monumet/Soi Rangnam area.

Im Looking at the following options around the area :

P.R Place - Premier Suite 45sqm

http://www.prplacebangkok.com/PR_Bangkok_Apartment_Premier_Suite.html

V.P Tower - Standard room 35sqm

http://www.vptower.com/index.html

21 Living Place - 25sqm room

http://www.21livingplace.com/index.html

If anyone has any information about these places then i would be greatfull for your information... Especially interesting is oppinions and experiances about P.R Place.

PR Place is not Victory Monument but next to Rajaprarop airport rail station only 50m.

Next Station Phayathai for BTS city etc.

I stayed PR Place before they renovated and bought the front shop for easier access.

Many types of rooms, close to Pratunam Wholesale Markets, Indra Hotel.

They have good rates esp. for 6mth/ 1Yr.Many room types, but I think you need to pay for room cleaning.

It's not modern but they are always cleaning and had lots of fresh flowers(Orchids)hanging and in pots.

21 living ,more modern, only 2 streets away from me,

looks new but it's a bit expensive.

Ya, got hooked on the Premier Suite for 12 000/month, but its hard to say if the place lives up to the pictures on the site in RL. Think im off to Rachada to start with tough, found a place called LA Tower wich seems perfect, i will check out PR place once im settled for maybe future use tough.

Can you hear the busy street outside or trains from your room? how are they with returning deposits?

Returning Deposits OK. No Problem.

Noise very little surprisingly,(Rajaprarop rd being one of the busiest streets in Bangkok)

However can hear the old trains late night as they roll threw.

Ask for a room at the back if you are a lite sleeper otherwise trains didn't bother me.

Ratchada lots of youth crime and gangs so be careful.

Cheaper, but you will spend more on transport I guess.
