Hi, just a tentative enquiry for now.

My son in law lives in the UK where he trains students to be electricians.

It is a proper government run training scheme for which he has legitimate qualifications.

Does anyone know if there is any requirement for teachers of electricians in Thailand to western standards, possibly for work abroad.

Any clues as to where to look or other practical advice is very welcome.

I could be wrong but I thank liveinlos is pretty much correct. The last add I saw for this position was 10 years ago and it was for a Thai national at a major Thai company. They do teach some electrical in their trade schools but not to the west standards. I have not heard of an apprenticeship program in Thailand.

Thai Electricians? :lol: I am a sparky to trade. But lived in Bangkok for 5 years where I taught football and English. My boss wanted to have a socket next to the Pc as you would. I needed to use the PC but couldn't as he was putting a new socket in. He had to run the cable maybe 4 metres . 4 hours it took. I gave up on trying to use the PC. :lol:
