Just a head up.

My officer today did not accept my two year old Kor Ror 2.

Claimed we could have divorced.

Had to get a freshly dated a Amphur.

It was after I refused to pay him 5000 baht instead of 1900 baht (Samui special price).

A new Kor Ror 2 at Amphur is 20 baht.

Yes the same goes for BKK. It has to be issued (date stamped) within the last 6 months prior to application for extension of stay (this according to an officer at BKK).

Strange, I have used the same photocopies for the last 4 years, the original from the Amphur office is in a laminate cover that gets photocopied the day before.

Must have spoken to a different officer.

Thats a lot of money for tea...3100baht....he must be a very thirsty boy

After all these years you would think that he would be sick of the sight of tea. :bah:

Personally I have never been asked for a Kor Sor 2. I wouldn't even have a clue what it looked like.

It was not an issue with me since we get a new one anyway about 2-3 weeks before application. It's easy and cheap.

The officer only mentioned it in an idle chit-chat with my wife that usually the date stamp from the district office should not be older than 6 months.

I believe this is the KR.2 (Kho Ro Song) being talked about:
