Officially it is a 5,000 Baht fine and 200 Baht for every day late. In reallity it is usually 2,000 whatever the lateness.

2000 is the standard fine but 5000 is the maximum possible if caught.

Yes, 2,000 baht. But if you make rpoblems they can charge 5,000.

Don't forget you can report by mail. You don't have to go to immigration.

to report by mail while living on the island is ridiculous unless you are incapacitated, thats different.It takes me 10 minutes on my scooter to get there and you wont wait more than 5 minutes, now compare that to bangkok !!!so what happens when you apply for a reentry visa if you have to fly out and back again and you have missed the reporting day?
