Theme Song For Thaivisa

Featured Replies

I found out how many of us who post here love music. So, I thought for fun, if Thaivisa had a theme song, what kind of music should it be? Also, the lyrics (if any) what would they say? :o

"Magical Mystery Tour"?

And take me disappearing thru' the smoke rings of my mind

Down the foggy ruins of time

Far past the frozen leaves, the haunted frightened trees

Upto the windy beach

Far from the twisted reach -- of crazy sorrow

Yes to dance beneath the diamond sky with one hand raving free

Silhouetted by the sea

Circled by the circus sands

With our memory and fate driven deep beneath the waves

Then we can forget about today until tomorrow

:o

'I wanna go home'.

Judging by all the unhappy farangs in Thailand that post the day away in here slagging off everything to do with Thailand, that would be an appropriate song. :o

"Magical Mystery Tour"?

I suggest the album of that name - the second song, following the title tune is "Fool On The Hill"

"Home, home on the range"

"Where the sick buffalo roam .................."

I believe I ought to retract this suggestion as I understand there is another line in the song which claims: "Where seldom is heard, a discouraging word...."

:o:D

and the buffalo's roam all day long :o

OR

There's a haze over Farangland tonight

I see faces as they pass beneath the pale lamplight

I've no choice but to follow that call

The bright lights, the people and the moon and all

I pray everyday to be strong

For I know what I do must be wrong

No you'll never see my shade nor hear the sound of my feet

While there's that lingering tug from my sweet Thailand

It was many years ago that I became what I am

I was trapped in this life like an innocent lamb

Now I can never show my face at noon

And you'll only see me walking by the light of the moon

The brim of my hat hides the eye of a beast

I've the face of a sinner but the hands of a priest

No you'll never see my shade nor hear the sound of my feet

While there's a moon over my sweet Thailand

She walks everday thru' the streets of my sweet Thailand

She's innocent and young, from a family of no means

I've stood many times outside her window at night

To struggle with my instincts in the pale lamplight

How could I be this way when I pray to God above

I must love what I destroy and destroy the thing I love

No you'll never see my shade nor hear the sound of my feet

While there's a moon over my sweet Thailand.

Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Stay-inn ALIVEeeeee-hiveeee-hiveeee...

?cause I?d rather stay here

With all the madmen

Than perish with the sadmen roaming free

And I?d rather play here

With all the madmen

For I?m quite content they?re all as sane

As me

When a nation hides

Its organic minds

In a cellar...dark and grim

They must be very dim)

Good song though.

I've Got You Under My Skin

------U2

I have got you under my skin

I've got you deep in the heart of me

So deep in my heart

You're nearly a part of me

I've got you under my skin

I have tried so not to give in

I have said to myself this affair

Never gonna go so well

But why should I try to resist

When baby I know so well

That I've got you under my skin

I would sacrifice anything

Come what might

For the sake of holding you near

In spite of a warning voice

That comes in the night

It repeats and it shouts in my ear

Don't you know blue-eyes

You never can win

Use your mentality

Wake up to reality

But each time I do

Just the thought of you

Makes me stop before I begin

'cause I've got you under my skin

I'd sacrifice anything

Come what might

For the sake of having you near

In spite of a warning voice

That comes in the night

It repeats and it shouts in my ear

Don't you know you old fool

You never can win

Use your mentality

Wake up to reality

But each time that I do

Just the thought of you

Makes me stop before I begin

'cause I've got you under my skin

And I love you (when you're) under my skin :o
