Getting Airside At The Airport !

Hi was wondering if anybody knew of a way to get airside so you can buy duty free at the shops, i know the obvious buy a cheap ticket ! but was just looking to get through buy some international brand ciggarettes and pay the dutys and taxs on the way back through ! ANY IDEAS ???

Not sure I understand but even if you bought a cheap intl ticket, you'd still have pass back through immigration and not being able to prove that you arrived on a flight would throw all kinds of red flags. You'd then have to explain why you cannot board the flight you are ticketed for. Again red flags and surely a baggage check.

Any other scenario of entering the intl terminal would require a security escort, a good reason to do so, and Im doubting they'd let you stop off at duty free.

Did you know there is a King Power duty free shop downtown? Don't exactly know how you can use that to your advantage but maybe if you're clever enough.. The purchase you make is delivered to the airport for you to take with you..

Sorry chaps, but I really can't see any way that what the OP is proposing could be legal, getting airside without a valid ticket would be a serious breach of security.

As such, closed (unless someone can come up with a good reason to re-open of course).
