Acky
If you had to choose between True and 3BB, which is better für international downloads and surfing, both 12 Mbps plan. That 12 Mbps will not be reached in real is clear, but who give better results? Acky

kuffki
Depends on your location in Thailand. I prefer AIS 3G. The op says Pattaya If Pattaya then NEITHER. Get yourself Sophon Fibre optic cable from Sophon Cable. Stable reliable internet 24/7, any problems they come out same day. It actually really is fibro- optic, they will drag the cable from outside. Been with them for over 1 year now and never had any problems. In that time its been down may be 3 times for about an hour. http://www.sophonbb.net/ 038423000 I am on the 4 MB package and see results Edited September 25, 2010 by kuffki
stolidfeline
Acky - In Bangkok - my True 16Mbps/1Mbps ADSL2+ connection's measured speeds is 1Mbps up and 17.3Mbps down - always - from Bangkok and Singapore, and several other sites. Speedtest from most worldwide servers often returns the same speed but almost always >5Mbps. Can't remember any failure of service, except when submarine cables got taken out a while back. Hope this helps the OP to decide. Edited September 25, 2010 by stolidfeline
