Any medicinal suggestions for an upset stomach ?

GI upset , (in case Gastritis )

1 infectious Gastritis , for recently , we find out , some kind of bacteria is a cause.. this case you need to see a Doc, for antibiotic

2 non-infectious Gastritis , maybe try antacid drug as

(brand name)

- Antacil (Tab /Susp)

- Amacone

- Alutop gel

- Gastro-Bismol

- etc.....

For H2- Blocking agent as Cimetidine ,Ranitidine,(generic name) which use for inhitbit the secretion of gastric juice.. better ask for a Doc or Phamarcist

Thais use Yatard4 stomach mixture cost about 33 baht for a 450cc bottle - it is good and tastes like Sh#t.

hehe ..Yatard4 is fine also .. my parents give me sometime i got GI upset when i was young

Support all of your remedies my wife even took Yartard4 to Australia and strange as it may seem as a youngster in Australia I was also given this at the RAP, I am sure it's the same stuff I think they used it as a deterrent rather than a cure. (Bought it by the 44gal -205 ltr drum)

Yartada4 for me whether I like it or not the CO of the baan says so.

Thanks for the info. Seems to be mainly herbal.

The other herbal one I heard of was 'Po Chai' pills.

Just curious : I saw that "rhubarb tincture" is an ingredient of "YATARD4". I never saw any "rhubarb" on a menu in a restaurant here in Thailand. Anyone ever eaten rhubarb in Thailand ?

Anyone know the dosage for Antacil and its side effects? Doesn't seem to be much information available on the web about it.
