Hi everyone,

I would like to introduce you all to the newest member of my family. Her name is Aaliyah (pronounced aah-li-aah). Our new daughter weighed in at a healthy 3.15 kgs or approx 6.5 lbs in the old measurement. Her first night at home was last night and she slept from 9:30pm until 4:00am this morning so she is already an angel, vying for sainthood in my eyes.

Both my wife and daughter are doing very well and, fingers crossed, everything will continue that way.

She is our first child together, though my wife has a son also and I have a son and 2 daughters back in Aus so we have a little experience between us but everyone is different and another wonderfull experience.

Congrats to you any yours. I'm sure you'll have the shotgun handy when the boys start coming around. I know I will when my girl gets old enough to have boyfriends.

Thanks very much to all for the replies and kind words and I will try to see everyone who will be here at the p#ss up on the 29th. It will probably be a short visit but I'll see what I can do as I'd really enjoy meeting everyone. Cheers.
