I have a double entry tourist visa in my "old passport", the first two months are nearly up. Problem.....I recently lost the passport but have a new virgin passport I obtained after I got the tourist visa. What do I do when it comes time to visit immigration for my one month extension? I do have copies of the Tourist visa and stamp put in my old pp. Any advice please.....

You should have reported to Immigration when you received your new PP and ask them to transfer your current permit to stay with the help of the copies of your old PP to the new one.

Go soon and get this done first and then they will you also give a 30 days extension, but the second trip on your original visa will be lost since you don't have the old PP anymore. Immigration can not transfer a visa, only permit to stay stamps!

I lost my passport also with a double entry tourist visa. I went to immigration to have the double entry transferred to my new passport, they said they could only stamp the new passport with 1 entry. They had to go back and look through computer data to see my original entry, which they transferred to my new passport. I lost the 2nd entry and had to make monthly visa runs (this was back when you could get 30 days. Unless things have changed you lost your second entry and will have to make a "Tourist visa" run if you want to stay longer. They will extend the first entry however 30 days for 1900 baht, so you have time to figure out what you will do.
