Computer Crime Act

Featured Replies

Does anyone out there have a link to the Thai language version of the Computer Crime Act?

Ask Jiew from the Prachathai site she has a better knowledge of it than most.

Unfortunately the Computer Crime Act is completely worthless if no action is taken against those who break it. I was recently maliciously hacked in several internet accounts, and after 3 months of hard work managed to obtain the identity of the hacker, an elderly american living in Suksabai Villa, Soi 17, Pattay (I,m not allowed to name him !). This person was politely asked to drink somewhere else after several customers complained about him. How ridiculous is this ! Someone can hack your computer, destroy hundreds of emails, alter data, leave eavesdropping devices, and the police will do nothing even when the culprit is known and proven ! If there is anyone out there who can help with this matter, be it an introduction to a senior police officer or a competent law firm specialising in computer crime, please contact me through here at Thaivisa or //removed// and I will make it worth your while if it proves successful.

And what was your security like on your computer? Internet accounts were they bank accounts? Did this hacker send you an infected email? Did he have access to your computer at any time?

Did the hacker target you specifically?

Did you answer a fraudalent email asking for account details and passwords?

It would appear that your security was somewhat lacking.
