housey
Hi, I need to get a 1 month stamp in Bangkok and I'm not sure where to do it. I looked and there seems to be 3 immigration offices. Can anyone tell me which one to go to? Also does anyone know the easiest way to get there from Saphan Mai? Many thanks...
lopburi3
Chiang Watanna Road, Soi 7 government complex (last building on right) at far end (South) entrance.
Mario2008
I'm guessing you want to extend a tourist visa entry by 30 days. You have to go here: http://bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/location1.html

I'm just trying to figure out now (with google maps) how to get there from where I am :-)
housey
Hi, Comes up as 507 Soi Suanplu, Sathorn Tai Road, Sathon, Bangkok 10500, Thailand on Google... confusing as that doesn't seem near Chaengwattana Road.
lopburi3
That is the old office and not where you want to go. You want the end of Soi 7 on Chiang Watanna Road.

That is the old immigration building. Cheang Wattana is the new location. Supposedly you can also get an extension of stay on a tourist visa there, (but this Friday they are closed). However I didn't see any confirmation of this and immigration is not aways a reliable source. Sunday = Closed Saturday Open 8.30 - 12.00 a.m at Immigration Division1 (Soi SuanPlu) - Counter 6 service for visa extension of Tourist visa,Transit visa, without visa and visa on arrival. - Counter 7 for Re-entry permit . http://bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/base.php As said, this Friday 1 Oct. they are closed! housey
Thanks guys really appreciated. Although, can't see where it says they are closed tomorrow. Might have to do it elsewhere...
