Orthodontist In Phuket (Braces)

Featured Replies

Hello all,

My first post, first of many to come i guess as i recently moved to Phuket.

As topic title says, i have braces for some time now and this used to be maintained by one of the better dentist/Ortho docters in BKK but since i live here i find it useless to travel back and forth just for this matter as i am sure there must be something available here.

Since i live 10min away from Bangkok Phuket hospital i am planning to go here t this week unless someone can recommend me something better. I have read some bad comments about the dentist service which makes me pop out this question. All i need is a checkup, and most likely just the removal of the braces as i am as good as finished with this horrible device. (question for experienced people, would it be wise to ask my complete file from the Ortho in BKK for showing the one i will be visiting here?)

Hoping somebody can give me a bit of advice out of his/her own experience :)

I recommend the dental department at Mission Hospital, Thepkasattri Road.

From own experience? which includes orthodontics?

Im awaiting my records frm my old ortho, then i will go and see where to go...got some info left and right but am wondering: why NOT to go to Phuket Bangkok Hospital for this?

Is the higher fee the only reason?

I always go to Bangkok Hospital Phuket for my 6 months check-up.

Expensive but very good in my opinion.

Have the same nice female dentist for the last 5 years. :)

These are regular checkups, as for me, i only need a orthodontist to have a look and hopefully take it out....

got some information about a Dental Center just around the corner, find it interesting and might have a look&chat, see what the rates are :)
