The website finally went live:

http://newproductlaunch.kawasaki.com/Products/AllNew2011Products.aspx

The Ninja 1000 looks like it would eat little Ninja 650s for breakfast ;)

ZX-10R is completely new, I am very partial to the new design ;)

And 1700cc?? Jeez. Squarely aiming at HD I suppose.

Bike porn time!

Relevance to Thailand: The ZX-10R will definitely come. The others... probably not any time soon :(

Hmmmm .... Ninja 1000.... love the color scheme.

Concours 14 GT ABS - best sport touring bike for past 3 years

Not surprised at all, had a chance to ride this baby on few occasions and it's just amazing bike!

The Vulcan 900 looks great, that and zx-10 in the shed would go great.

Right, of course the Vulcan 900 will be sold here too, forgot about that.

Add a Versys and the stable is complete... ;) 2011 Versys is unchanged from 2010 - but new for Thailand :)

Ninja 1000 and Z1000 both look stunning.

I actually think they look better than the 2011 speed triple.

I was going to say totally different bike but it looks like Triumph has realized it's 2010 with the new speed triple and has gotten rid of the round headlamps. Good thing as far as I am concerned. But these kawas still look ... stunning. Unfortunately the Ninja 1000 is a bit of a fatty at 502 lb (!!). I still love her, it's the inner values that count, isn't it....

From the pics I have seen of the 2011 Speed I flat out hate the headlights.. The bug eye dual fighter lights was a speed signature and the new ones have the look which a lot of home builders of fighters fall into trying to mod sportbike lights onto fighters, they stick too far forward and give the bike a 'beak'.. It looks a tiny bit better with a screen but I hate it. Tho maybe the pics dont do it justice for real in the flesh.

In person the Z100, 2009's seen, is a very exciting bike; HOT. And I don't get that excited about bikes with too much plastic.

Is it true that no four cylinder Kawasaki is made in Thailand correct? Never heard mention if the Z1000 is made in Thailand. But selling for a 'made here' price of say 380,000 baht for that kinda monster would be freaking unbelievable.

The Z100? Is that the Honda-Wave-size version of the Z1000

:P

That's the street fighter Honda Wave version, maybe you've seen it in the custom scooter mags............... :whistling:

Just wont happen.. Yes it would be an import currently and even the UK price is above that.

I mean even at 500 - 600k it would be 'cheap'.. Under 500 they can form an orderly queue behind me.

I would agree with LivinLOS . . . . but then again look what I spent my money on whistling.gif

dam_n I wish Thaivisa thread notification worked. I am missing all the great threads!

Ninja 1000...wow what a stunner. Now with Kwakers moving manufacturing of some bikes here, I wonder will they do that with the Ninja 1000? If it's a 4pot 650R on steroids then why not? I think there is a chance we may see that bike here and without the markup we see with the ZX-10. That would put it at around 330,000baht. That may be my first liter bike!

I remember back in the 80s seeing a GPZ900R and thinking " How can bikes get any more high tech than this?"

It just occurred to me... I should get a subscription... it's been a new one every year now for 2 years, that's not going to stop if they slowly move bikes over here...

Drooling all over that Ninja 1000, the design just kills me, even if the thing is insanely heavy.

By the way has anyone seen a 2011 ZX-10R here in the LOS? Kawa CM has a 2010 model in the showroom...
