I'm planning a trip to Patong the end of November for a few days. Can you suggest a decent hotel in Patong that is in walking distance to bars, restaurants, etc. in the 2,000-3,000 baht range?

Doesn't look like you are getting resposes as this topic has been flogged to death here on the forum.

Courteous advice-the search mechanism here, the hotel link here.

From past posts I recall people recommending the Expat Guesthouse.

Best of luck.

Don't sites like tripadvisor.com allow those to rate/rank hotels after their stay? Might be a good place to start. Also Agoda has a feedback/trip report feature on it's website.
