Foreigner Shot In Taipan By A Thai Man And A Gang Beating Of The Same Foreigner After He Drops To The Floor

Why are these crazy stupid foreigners allowed to post crab sh*t like this in this forum. You only follow their relationships to now at what level they live here,,, the gutter I suppose

I can't believe this! Who are you to say none of this is true? If only part of it is, then it's really bad.

what about some sympathy/ compassion? How can you possibly believe someone made this up?

Maybe not posting and just keeping quiet would be a good idea

Being shot is not justified and your comments indicate how low you are on the scale of human compassion

this is probably some stupid A** local idiot who thinks that anything bad or really bad done to a foreigner in this place is justified

and if you let it out in the open, god forbid, you are tarnishing the "squeaky clean" image of the country.

n your dreams dude or whoever you are.

Do you really believe in this story without a date and time of incident:rolleyes:

So you are saying that my wife is lying to me or that I am sitting here and lying about this?

But ok I`ll give you the date that it most likely happened which would be early morning on the 15th of September, but it could be a day or wto later. And it happened in the late opening hours sometime after 3am or 4am.

Thinking about how it was here 10 years ago and having talked to many both Thais and foreigners with more than for 20 years living here and I would say the crime rate is sky rocketing. Following this trend and how it could be here after one more decade and I wouldnt recommend anyone to come here to settle down.

I guess it has to become a second Pattaya before authorities are willing to step up. If so and that is a sad thing for Phuket and which could have been stopped.

Strange they didnt learn anything out of Pattaya but are fine to see this part their country also going down the same route just being trashed

Came to Pattaya first time more than 40 years ago. It has developed to a sh-thole.

Cant say the same about Phuket. Crime rate is still lower than most places in the world. Frequently leave the keys in my motocy and nothing happens. Frequently leave my car running while in 7/11, nothing happens. Out in Bangla including night clubs at least one night a week, no problems.

and when reading the stories of violence and shootings here on TV, in most cases I find no reasons to trust them due to lack of presented facts

The hour and date are important for what reason ? I'm sure the the OP can provide from his wife and her friend the date and approximate time. However what bearing does the date have on whether the events happened or not if the alleged victim or witness did not file a complaint to the police? I.e. what are you going to do with that information to establish whether it happened or not? How many unreported crimes have a date and time known to others not directly involved ?

I've no reason to doubt the validity of the OP's story so I'm prepared to keep an open mind. However it seems you are certain it didn't happen because TV or PG never told you so and on what date. I would go as far as to say that if it was reported by the garbage media here and involved a very profitable venue whose owner is likely to have certain nefarious persons on the payroll whose duties should be focused elsewhere, it is even less likely to be true than something not reported at all in my opinion. Look at the number of news stories reported in Phuket that are wildly inaccurate and how often they get recanted / changed because they are complete bull5hit; and the ones that aren't are distorted leave out important details.

What you are saying now is just total nonsense. Police presence and police work is what is lower here than most places in the world. Also this is a place with huge numbers of unreported crimes. For example the one with our own restaurant staff, Neither were the beer bottle attack reported or picked up by the police and neither did we report her stealing money from our other staff. About theft at work or similar and the truth is that most cases are never reported. People are just asked to leave their position or never to show their face around here anymore.

In western almost every incident like thefts will include the police. So you could probably multiply the statistics with most crimes here with 10 times of whats being reported except from murders and house break-in's that in almost every case will find their way to the police.

And if you judge how screwed up it is becoming here or not because how many times you can leave the keys in your motocy or car without it being stolen then I begin to understand your way of thinking.

The OP started this topic with this question ...

Anyone with some more info about this?

I don't see anyone answering the question. All I see is a Phuket bashing fest. Topic is closed pending a quote from an official news source.
