No More Fiction - Car Drives Itself

Featured Replies

It would cause too much unemployment if introduced to Thailand plus it would lose its rep as one of the highest mortality rates on the roads.

It won't be cheap so anyone here with enough money already has a driver. Could be useful elsewhere if one has imbibed too much it could drive you home sedately. Can it drop one off outside Emporium and come back later?

If this goes into mass production one day it will be cheaper than a good PC today.

I guess the drive even without a person inside, depends on the programming. The sky is the limit.

unfortunately, it's worthless in asia.

Asian men will still drive even if they ahve one, after a night of 2 beers

Fortunately, in farangland, after 10beers(equivalent) it will be massively used.

They had a robot bus in England back in the sixties , was tested on a resticted circuit , also a system to take control of a car on major highways to prevent collisions , I have no idea what happened to it though , maybe shelved due to expense . I read about it in science magazine .
