Morning.

I am sending a classic Vespa to a mate in the UK.

Can anyone explain the process and its costs - and hopefully the best way of doing it.

Anyone know any good trustworthy shipping companies?

All knowledge and advice greatly appreciated.

I don't know any of the specifics of that particular bike or shipping to the UK, but be aware that there could be real impediments to getting the bike into the country, some safety or emission standards that a Vespa manufactured here (?) wouldn't meet.

I did check out the possibility of taking a Yamaha Nouvo Elegance to Canada, and it was just impossible, from the Canadian regulations. Despite the fact that Yamaha is a worldwide country and sells loads of bikes in Canada.

Schenker will do it for you. But for how much? Robin Hyde is your man.

If it is an SS 90 it might be worth it.

Must be a real rarity to make this worthwhile ?? Run of the mill LX150s etc wouldnt be worth it..

hel_l there seems more 180 / 200 rally type ones in the uk than here.
