Singer Beyonce Knowles reportedly pregnant

NEW YORK (BNO NEWS) -- Acclaimed R&B and Pop Singer Beyonce Knowles is pregnant with her first child in what she said was a surprising news, US Weekly magazine reported on Wednesday.

The 29-year-old singer and actress was surprised as she had not planned having a child soon as she is currently recording her latest album and intended to promote it in a world tour once more. Neither Beyonce nor her husband, rapper Jay-Z, declared on the topic.

"Beyonce was shocked. She loves kids, but she wasn't ready to be a mother just yet. She really wanted to get her album done and tour the world again," a source of the singer told the magazine.

Beyonce married 40-year-old rapper Jay-Z in 2008. She is reportedly in the third trimester of her pregnancy. She is also reported to be very happy with the news.

"Jay has been all about family since I met him, and he's always going to be. I wish them the best," said record executive Kevin Liles, a long-time friend of the couple.
