October 30, 201015 yr You young whippersnappers don't even know how it came to be called Bedlam, do you? Err gulp...umm no. Why don't you enlighten us Professor Grumblesnipe?
October 30, 201015 yr You young whippersnappers don't even know how it came to be called Bedlam, do you? hell I am not a whippersnapper and I don't even remember that. Got more important things to remember. Like when was the last time I cut my toenails.

October 30, 201015 yr May have 700 posts in Bedlam, but never bumped my boat. Where is his 80s music number, where is his bottom number. I remember his name, like i do lots. Some peeps go elsewhere, some just read. We can all do that, if we want. My computer died for about 4 months - Eek asked where i was on the day that i got back on line.
October 30, 201015 yr You young whippersnappers don't even know how it came to be called Bedlam, do you? My recollection is that it was at p1p's (may he RIP) suggestion. Is that right?
October 30, 201015 yr and I was sending text messages to what we thought was your mobile number patsy, if you ever get in a pickle like that again, please try to let someone know something. was a worry
October 30, 201015 yr I will, Suega has my number as does Mobi. I shall send it to you via pm. Thanks. Kisses to you and the wee one.
October 30, 201015 yr Is there anyone here now who remembers, or was a member of, "The Underground"? (I think that was the name) Edited October 30, 201015 yr by Old Croc

Have to say I'm impressed anyone else would remember. Yes, it was p1p's idea. And Old Croc, yes, I was a member. I believe it was actually called the VIP forum for a while, too, but given that none of us were all that important, it was changed.

This guy had over 700 posts in Bedlam, Jayenram is/was Yorkie, he hasn't been around for a while (nice chap, met him more than a couple of times in the FC Surin), and Francois was/is Kurgen, now banned I think, can't remember why..... what happened to Elsie? (and I don't think (hope) that I'm not giving away any secrets there. I wasn't one of the original crew, I haven't been a member all my life, but I do remember a post stating how and why Bedlam was set up, p1p (RIP) named it, and back then it was by invitation only. When I first arrived in this invisible section, OC welcomed me and pointed out were I had been spending most of my time thread wise.... It had been a dry month Bedlam is the correct name and should not be considered for change, not only because it suits it so well but also out of some respect for a chap I never met but have never heard a bad word about.. The forum I mentioned, "Underground", was never Bedlam itself, but a secret, invitation only, unmoderated, not to be talked about, special place. It was created by Huski and had only 100 members. I think the statute of limitations is up so I can whisper of it's former existance. Edited October 31, 201015 yr by Old Croc
October 31, 201015 yr Grrrrr....... no more quotes. Thanks guys and gals. Still wondering how long posts stay online before falling off. Deleted...disappear.. woteva.

I suspect there could be such clique forums still in existance.

It started to fall apart when Boon Mee heard about it and started scratching and whining at the door to be let in. The secrecy went, TD people starting talking about it, and the forum was scrapped. It was good while it lasted.

November 3, 201015 yr I don't understand why people change their nic. I have always been Patsycat, and shall be till whenever. Why do people do it? I have enough problems with bank PINs and phone numbers. If i suddenly had to change my nic to pisscat or something I would be flummoxed. By the way, the new photo is one of my cat, Saturna, who died last year at the grand old age of 16. There is a thread in Pets about her. She looks a bit vicious - but was the softest. Good at polishing floors with her belly!!

Sometimes when you join another forum the nic is already taken, so you have to think of another one. So. some may do it to make sure they have the same nic on every forum they go on. I'm a memebr of quite a few (mainly Man City and football forums)and have kept MrBoJangles but recently I bought a GMC Yukon and don't know much about those big American Trucks so I joined a forum to ask some questions. MrBoJangles was already taken, so I chose Desert Driver. I forget every time I log on and automatically put MrBoJangles.

Yeah...I actually joined TV years ago under my regular online nic, but I never became a regular. A few years ago, I came back, tried to join under my regular nic, but of course, I had already taken it but forgotten that it was me....it was only afterwards, upon doing some browsing, that I remembered that I had an old nic here. It has still remained unused.
