Just got my Nuvi 205W not used it yet,. is it voice prompt as you drive along, can you turn the voice on and off? I have looked at the instructions but can not find any information regarding these things.

How do you enter address here as it is unlike the Uk where you can just enter a post code.

Voice prompt - YES, there is a "Mute" button for the volume. Addresses are a real challenge, you'll just have to play with them like everybody else. Sorry no postal codes.

I have the same unit from the USA....bought the SE Asia chip 2 years ago. I have used it about 4 times and its pretty accurate...Only thing it doesn't pickup are some of the smaller roads and of course satelite coverage isn't as good....Takes a while to locate in the Ban Chang area.

Love it thou....never get lost again...

sorry just changed units, menu, volume, mute is how my 205w works, thinking of going back to my 205, dont know why like it better but the 205w in England was only 4000 baht new.

going to Kanchanburi tomorrow so see if i like it more on a long trip
