Best Place To Buy Home Appliances?

Featured Replies

I want to buy a couple of things for the house (a good food processor, a French press, a coffee grinder). What's the best place to go for that? I tried some general stores like Home Depot or Tesco, but either their options are too limited or they don't have what I'm looking for (I still haven't seen a single coffee grinder anywhere!). Is there a large store somewhere that sells these things? Preferably one where I won't spend a fortune.

Central and The Mall/Emporium/Paragon department stores will usually stock every gadget under the sun, especially the big ones in larger shopping malls.

Whatever you do, do not shop at Powerbuy. Not only you will not get the service but will also find they are not the best at honoring the warranty.

For coffee grinders, i have seen some at Carefour and http://www.boncafe.co.th/

This seems like the right place, though I can't seem to find the exact address on their website.

Here on Phuket Power Buy is regarded by many as the best place for such, with good prices and service.

Central department store tends to beat other stores on price - especially the one in Pattaya, not sure about BKK. Got a 'juicer' from there last week and it was 1000Baht cheaper than anywhere else.
