Alternative To Ramapril For High Blood Pressure

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

does anyone know if an alternative to Ramapril is available in Thailand, I am currently taking 10mgs daily for my high blood pressure, but I understand Ramapril is expensive in Thailand when compared to the UK.

Any feedback would be gratefully appreciated.

Thanks

Vistana

Ramipril is what is called an ACE inhibitor. While there are some costly imported brands of it here (e.g. Titrace) there are also several locally made generic equivalents which should not be epxensive. Some brand names:

Acetate

Corpril

Gempril

Mediram

Ramicard

Ramtace
