anyone got any ideas on what there is to do in BK tonight to celebrate Loi Krathong with my girlfriend??thanks !

Sorry, do you mean BK= Ban Kruad or Bkk.- Bangkok. If it is Bkk. ,anywhere on the Chaophraya River, generally near a bridge, there will be plenty of celebrants. Also many of the Klongs (canals) also have launching places. just beware of some idiots with firecrackers.

Why didn't you go to Sukhotai or Chiang Mai where the real big events are, or Ayuthaya.

I was in Bangkok twice, no really big events, There used to be a grand fair at around Wat Saket.
