Are you talking $30,000 per month? :o

You'll get nothing to buy for that in South pattaya, specially if you mean the actual town area

You did say house

I think there are still condos in your price range

Pick up a pattaya trader or the real estate magazine from one of the Supermarkets in Pattaya.

Your not really gonna be able to sort anything from outside of Thailand

Rent a place for a few months and look around

Just done a quicki on a local agency run (assume long time no see)by a guy that I have known for about 10 years and always had good feedback/reputation.

30k US will easily get you a condo in/around Patti and even a house (dont forget ownership restrictions)but as previous comment why not go for a rental before making the big committment.

Anyway for info only. I got NO Connection.... :o ...ask for Peter

I just did a quick search on that site (KCR) and for listings under 2 million baht ($49,000 US) there were 12.

8 condos, 3 "houses" and 1 bakery.

The cheapest house was 1.25 million baht (about $30,577 US).

There are quite a few realty listings for Pattaya, if you search long enough. Another one you may want to look at is the Baht & Sold site:

Baht & Sold

I've browsed some other sites, but didn't bookmark them.

Personally, I'm probably going to start looking at areas further away from Pattaya, unless I win the Thai lottery soon.

better to rent mate and invest your $30.000.

rentals are so cheap in anfd around pattaya, should be able to rent a condo for around 10.000baht/month,your intrest from your investment will pay for your rent.

and keep a eye out over there you should have heaps of spare time on your hands to search for a condo or house to buy.

Good advice

If you rent and undesirable neighbours move in, you are able to move easily

If you buy you are stuck
