Only a couple months 'til you go back to LOS.

It's the lovely weather in England today that is p*ssing you off!

A good cuppa should do the trick. :o

I'm going back to LOS on Wednesday. :D

You could try Evening Primrose capsules if you're feeling moody or getting cramps.

You'll feel a bit sunnier in a few days, but if it becomes a monthly occurence, you might like to try this medication, its natural and effective.

of course, if you (Tots) are a male, then this medication is ineffective. You'll need to do something else....

Or, perhaps, read a bit of Poetry:

"o Hillary, or not to Hillary, that is the question,

Whether ‘tis nobler in the mind to suffer

The slings and arrows of outrageous Hillary,

Or to take arms against a sea of Hillaries,

And by opposing, end them: to die, to sleep,

No more; and by a sleep, to say we end

The Hillaries, and the thousand Bill-Hillaries

That flesh is heir to; ‘tis an unHillary

Devoutly to be wished. To die, to sleep,

To sleep, perchance to dream, ay there’s the Hill.

For in that sleep of dreams, what Hillaries may come

When we have shuffled off this stupid Hillary

Must give us pause - there’s the respect

That makes calamity of so much Hillary:

For who would bear the lies and crimes of Hillary,

The schemer’s plots, the elitist’s snubs,

The legs of a grand piano, the serpent eyes,

The ‘insolence of office,’ and the shames

That patient public of the Hillary takes,

When he might his Hillary make

With a bare Monica; who would BJs bear,

To smile and campaign under a fallen star,

But that the dread of something after the Senate,

The unredeemable country, from whose Hillary

No patriot returns, puzzles the will,

And makes us rather bear the Bush we now have,

Than fly to Hillaries we know well of.

Thus Hillary doth make victims of us all,

And thus the native hue of honesty

Is sicklied o’er with the pox of Hillary,

And experiments of noble goal and purpose,

With this Hillary their White House make crimson,

And lose the name of honor. Soft you now,

The Hildebeast - Beyotch, in thy cauchemares

Be my Constitution remembered." (Hamlet III, iii, 56-89)

~~

Or, more simply put by Norfolk, Hillary me no Hillaries!

(With apologies to the immortal Bard:) :D

Anyone bother reading that poem? Is it any good?

I have found the perfect way to forget about being annoyed with living in England - GARDEN SHED. Brilliant.

Have you tried inviting some snails over for happy hour?

The first night I tried this only two arrived.

However, the numbers have been increasing. Last night we had ten. Must be word of mouth because we're doing no advertising at all.

Mam had the bright idea of branding all of last night's customers with White Out (correction fluid) so we can identify repeat customers.

Well, I started the Snail Happy Hour gig in response to the post by someone who said they were bored. I never really understood boredom. As long as you've got your imagination and sense of humor you can't possibly be bored, no matter where you are.

And, I figured Snail Happy Hour might cheer up the OP in this thread.

Did it work?

I don't think it's possible to have too much time on your hands.

:D

When I was younger and still working I was one of those people who always had to be doing something productive. If I had idle time I felt guilty about it. I made a conscious decision to change that; to learn to revel in goofing off and to enjoy being mindful of ordinary day-to-day experiences.

For example, this morning, while enjoying my daily squat on the suam I got to thinking about the fact that for my morning coffee I'd have to open a new container of milk. I got to wondering what sort of seal the bottle would have and whether or not it would be easy to open. By the time I was finished I could hardly wait to do this simple, ordinary thing.

As a result, my days fly by. I have no idea where the time goes. (Well, yes, I do know.) So, even though I'm retired and have nothing but time on my hands, I don't seem to "accomplish" as much as I did when I worked eight or nine hours a day. My "to do" list gets longer by the day. But, happily, there's always tomorrow.

And, as for tonight? Time to get ready for Snail Happy Hour!

:o

Now what's happened to Tots today (looks like a no sho?) and whatever fcuked him off I wonder? :D Just not like him, tho we all have a bad moment/day here and there... Tots, wassup??

I did cheer me up.. :o

I was thinking of giving this a go myself when I'm back in "the village"... problem is that the wife has quite a liking for snails and they would most probably end up in the cooking pot.. :D

I would feel a bit bad luring them with beer for my entertainment, and then them finishing up as dinner..
