Spa Info For New Years

Featured Replies

I'd like to do something relaxing over the New Year's holiday, but I don't want to travel because I understand travelling will be a nightmare and it's not really relaxing. What I really want to do is find a hotel with a spa, or near a spa, or a spa retreat of some kind, and spend 3 or 4 nights, with my days taken up with Thai massage and maybe a facial and foot care. I don't want to spend a pile of money because I don't have a pile of money. I was thinking that 2000 baht a night at the outside, and I'd prefer lower. I live in Salaya, I would be open to something out here, but I'd probably prefer to go into Bangkok so I can do other stuff if I want.

As for the spa, the place I go to now for Thai massage is 450 baht for 2 hours. I can get a foot massage for an hour and a half for under 300. Those are the spa prices I'm looking for, not the Western-level prices some of the hotels have going on. I am open to suggestions.
