No Double Entry Tourist Visa Form Brisbane

Featured Replies

A friend of mine who has an air ticket from Australia to Thailand and a return air ticket out of Thailand to Australia timed near the end of what would be the second leg of a double entry visa was refused a double entry visa because she did not have a flight or 'itinary' booked to take her out of Thailand at the end of the first 60 day grant.

She was granted a single entry Tourist visa for which she had no booked flight or itinary. Will she be allowed to board the plane by the airline for the outward trip?

This would appear to now make a casual visa run to Cambodia or similar an unacceptable option to the Thai Government for sustaining a double entry Tourist Visa.

All this at the Brisbane Thai consulate.

Learned comments please.

Flight should not be a problem with any type of visa. Without the travel plans Consulate apparently felt there was no valid reason presented for a 2 entry tourist visa (as such visas are issued to make travel/return easy but not for long term stay).

Was your friend Australian? Believe such requirements are most often applied to 3rd country applicants.
