How Does Your Man Treat You?

Featured Replies

:o Hello ladies, have not posted on this bit before but after reading the general topics and a thread entitled- how does your woman treat you- thought i would put the same question to you and even up the score a bit! Well as i asked the question i shall go first. I am still living in the uk at the moment so dont know if it even counts but here goes! I work , so does my husband (long hours!) , he manages to shower and wash himself as do I . We share chores around the house but i suppose that i mainly do the cleaning but only because i get home a lot earlier than him. We both cook although neither of us have a thing going with food and mostly just a sandwich or something quick as most nights we are either at the gym, out , doing stuff around the house or just plain lazy. We are a pretty equal partnership and i wouldn't trade him for anything ( well maybe Brad Pitt)

Brad Pitt!

Brad Pitt!

We are always getting dumped for Brad Pitt!

:o

nice topic 90210 :D

We are also in the UK & I work out of home full time and he doesn't so we split the houshold stuff. He cooks, I clean the bathroom & kitchen, he hoovers, I polish, he emties the bins (I haven't touched one since the day we moved in together :D) & makes the bed, he does the garden, neither of us wash the car :D He stays at home painting canvasses & sells them privatly, mostly thai images & buddhas, he also plays music at a local thai resteraunt a few times a month. Neither of us like going out, so our evenings are spent with family or freinds at home or just together. We are also able to shower seperately & without assistance :D but occasionally like to help each other out :o We have a lot of plans for the future & have the same idea for our lives. Plan to have a baby soon & he will be a stay at home dad (I can hear some of the guys on here having collective heart attacks already :D) we respect each other & are completely happy. Didn't go looking for a husband but just happened, of all the men I knew, he treats me better & can handle his strong wife (in fact brags about it when freinds are bitching about their gf's/ wives, can't do this, wants them to earn more etc) , is happy for me to be the higher earner, as am I as I didn't marry him for his money as I can make my own & knew his talents were in art & not finance.

He loves my family & they love him, takes time out to teach my 7y/o neice guitar & art weekly, plays golf with my step dad twice a month & helps my mum with the heavy stuff around the garden. Moved my sister into her new house & put all her furniture together. I never knew a guy who took so much care & respect of my family & I try to return that when we go back to LOS to see his family.

All in all, a great husband :D

Good for him. Nothing wrong with a stay at home Dad. Better than a father that's never there. I am a stay at home Dad. I go to school, my wife works and I look after our daughter.

Good for you thaibebop, sometimes the old conventional roles just dont' work for a couple in this day & age & as long as both parties are happy, it can make a very good arrangement :o We both understand this as well :D

I, too, have a Thai husband. And, I have to say that after 16 years of marriage we are still in love and still happily married.

As for work, well we own a bungalow resort so alot of stuff around here is done by staff but the personal stuff, well I am a firm believer in a division of labor. I am more than happy to do the laundry and keep things tidy as long as he takes care of 1)the dead stuff 2)snakes 3) electrical/motor stuff. :o

He treats me very well, he is very sweet, loving and honest. I would and do trust him with my life.

Yucks!! Gags..........not Brad Pitt!!!!!! :o

Have a great loving husband too .....only thing is that I wish he was less stubborn and helps around the house more since we both work full time. No one is perfect though.
