Baby Seat For Car

Featured Replies

I am looking to buy a baby seat for a car and would also appreciate any advice on where to get it safely installed.

as far as i've ever seen, installation is nothing more than passing a seat belt through the back of the car seat. the biggest problem for me has been finding acceptable (western safety standards) car seats here on samui. i finally had one delivered from the states.

To buy, check classifieds and/or consider a trip to BKK. As for installation, I think an instruction that comes with a car seat will be enough to handle it.

You can buy them in the small department store in Nathon - I think its called Samui Mart. Its near K bank on the main road.

They have loads of baby stuff in there and its good quality.

Most choice will be in Bangkok, places like Central Chidlom have plenty of choice.

On Samui only Samui mart in Nathon has some options.

i just paid 25,000 baht for a super premium one from japan: ailebebe kurutto premium.

i did see other brands for half that and less, but just felt it wasn't the thing to skimp on.

its convertible for front or rear facing and well designed.

yet still a feeling of 'wow thats expensive'. seems the best in the USA are in the $200 range?

anyone else own one of these?
