Power Tool Repairs

Featured Replies

Has anybody found a shop in Chiang Mai that repairs power tools? I know Global keep parts for some of the brands they sell but they don't have what I want which is new armature for my saw.

SE corner of Chotonaa Road and Super Highway, fronts on the super. It would help if you told the brand.

Brand is Delta which is USA but made in Taiwan, I am hoping there are others around that are made in the same place that have the same part. It is a compound mitre saw to buy new they are are over 15,000 Baht, I am hoping to avoid spending that much as I will not use it that often after I am finished building kitchen cupboards.

There is a place that repairs all sorts of power tools. I think it is on Rathawong Rd (on the river side of the street) between Wichayanon and Chang Moi Rds. But it might be on the parallel road closer to the river.

Sorry I cannot be more accurate.

I'll be back in a few weeks and can let you know for sure where it is then.

This shop that Dante mentions at Kwang Sing intersection is called Montree. It's one of the biggest and most popular power tool shops in town. I'm not sure about repairs for that brand, but a good place to start with inquiries.
