Is Chatuchak Market open during the week( day time ) or is it strictly weekends only?

Parts of it are open just head towards JJ Mall and you will find some places open, however the main market area is not open for business.

Probably not worth the hour odd drive from Chonburi then by the sounds of it beanno.

It all depends on what you have in mind.

The market is open 7 days a week, and 52 weeks a year.

Personally, I'd rather shop there during week days, rather than wkends.

There is practically no crowd and the bargain is much better.

Wednesdays and Thursdays Chutachak has landscaping plants and nursery supplies. A few other shops are open -mainly interior design type shops are also open on those days . I don't know about the other days tho .

you may go any day.

Two of my sis went there for the interior stuff too, a few months ago, for the whole week.

They shopped at the stores along side the main street around 'JaTuChuk' market.

Have fun and remember to bargain and bargain and bargain til they are just about to kick you out.
