Cebu Air

Featured Replies

I have business in Palawan early next month. One of the flight options is on Cebu Air via Manila. How are they regards reliability, cost and being on time?

Terrible. Both Philippine and Cebu are terrible airlines---3rd world. Cebu's flight leaves at a late hour and leaves late all the time. When you arrive in MNL chances are you have to transfer to the DOMESTIC terminal it is a complete JOKE.

Is there anyway your contact will or can fly to BKK so you can totally avoid going to the PH ? Palawan is nice but there is so many headaches getting there and the food is rotten.

If not I stronly suggest Fly TG to MNL then take a chance with Seair, you will have to do the transfer from NAIA 1 to the domestic terminal the shuttle bus doesn't exist so jump in a YELLOW taxi and offer the guy 300 pesos, around 200 baht. It is only 10-15 minutes away.

I have done the trip to the PH over 40 times from BKK and not once has 5J or PR left on time or has gone without a hitch, the only time it seems to work is on TG.

Good Luck

^ point taken on Cebu Air. Looks like SEAIR don't do Porto Princesa so may have to trust in the dodgy ones for the last flight!

I have done the bkk -mnl flight three times and had no trouble at all, in fact they were great.

In the past I have had some trouble with cancellations to other destinations.
