Where are you? That might help.

I have been looking on ajarn.com recently and there are not many jobs going at the moment, a lot of my friends are out of work, but at least have part time work every weekend in language centers where they can pick up around 30,000pm.

I am in Kanchanaburi.. but i will go anywhere in Bkk or 100km radius..

Check out ajarn.com, but like I said not much happening at the moment.

Most guys I know just walk in to a School and ask if they need a teacher, but most of the time it is part time and for around 400ph to 600ph.

The Thai Schools are in the 2nd semester and it's going to be fairly slim pickings for a job right now. If you are working, I would suggest that you continue in your current employment and look for work at the end of the 2nd semester. Please be aware that moving and changing jobs is going to be expensive. You may have to go back to a tourist visa (unless you are on a non-O). You may have to make visa runs, etc. Some schools also deduct for the probationary period and if you are probation they may not pay for time not worked, such as holidays. Different schools are going to have different regulations, but you need to be prepared.

Of course, you might get lucky and find something, but I wouldn't count too heavily on it.

Best of luck.
