I have ported Brad Goodman's software only GPS to the web. Originally written for the Palm Pilot platform, this software-only GPS pinpoints your location anywhere on the globe. While Brad claims accuracy to within 30 centimeters, the best I've been able to accomplish is about a meter.

This should work regardless of what browser or computing platform you use.

Please visit the Soft GPS site and report back here on the accuracy you achieve:

A bit boring down in the big city of Korat today Mike? :o

Pretty tough to beat yesterday, what with the funeral and all.

BTW, did the Soft GPS find you there in Baan Tako?

Yes, it found me within a meter. :D I wouldn't worry about "Brad's 30 centimeters claim", a meter seems pretty good to me. :o

Suffering a slight hangover from the funeral "festivities" yesterday, but not too bad considering I didn't leave the Pasinee until 10 PM. Nice to have the brother-in-law along for driving me back. Otherwise it would have had to be another hotel night in Korat. :D

Edit: very very very strange but I did not "link" the word "hotel" when I typed this, yet somehow it is linked to Expedia in the UK. Even as I edit this it does not show as any kind of link. What's up with that?????? :D:D:D
