albertvb Posted December 13, 2003 Share Posted December 13, 2003 I'm Belgian and when i see the price to buy a house or condo in Thailand with walls from 5 cm no isoled poor electric installation the working people with a low salary etc etc ,I dont see why the prices are about the same than Europe where the working people salary 8 times more the taxes and more quality etc etc ... If in heavily farang concentrated areas, the prices will be much more opposed to the countryside. BKK, Pattaya, Phuket.....expect a high mark-up on prices. The only Thai people moving into these expensive places are the wealthy Thai. These properties you speak of are not for the everyday Thai citizen.
